Had a great happy hour lunch! Excellent food, drinks, music, and lighting! Gio was a phenomenal host, server, and bartender. He recommended the mango margarita, and it was delicious!

Kalaveras in Uptown Whittier is great. Nice brunch menu and drinks. We were a party of ten; the options were vast, so everyone had something they liked and enjoyed. Service was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely bring back the family here for brunch. Again, good Mexican food, flavors were delicious, plates were hot, drinks boozy. Good times!

Great restaurant.. we sat outside because indoors was very loud. Cool vibe outside👍. Everything was neon and food was delicious!!! Fish tacos were to die for. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. We will be back!!

I’m glad I ventured out of my hotel and found this place! Cool vibe in the historic district of Whittier. The Mole Ranchero Enchiladas were great! Really enjoyed the flavor and the little bit of heat. Only thing that missed was it had a bit of a bitter taste vs being smooth and sweet/spicy. My server even told me a little about molé that I didn’t know. I love fun facts! Overall, great food, good service, and a fun atmosphere. *The music is loud, if you’re looking for a quite night out this isn’t it.

Our family had a wonderful experience UNTIL our server went on break without informing us after we had placed a drink order and we watched our shots be served to another table for free 😑 After sometime waiting, I walked up to the manager on duty and she wasn't so helpful in fixing the situation. She brought us the bill minus the shots we ordered and didn't bother bringing us the shots that WE ordered...Everything was going soooo smoothly, mind you we spent nearly $300 and would have continued spending if we continued receiving the great service from the get-go. Started off so great and ended dead, let down.

Food and atmosphere were excellent...our server, we'll maybe he was new?? But definitely needed help, we were a party of 15 and felt like no one was talking care of us. Other than that it was enjoyable.

Such a cute place the decorations are beautiful. Drinks are nice and strong and the food is delicious. Lots of photo opps. Parking was pretty easy during the day.

I love Kalaveras, it's a whole experience... the food is great... the employees make you feel heard and are very nice, they are constantly checking yo see if you need any refills or if you are enjoying your meal. The atmosphere here is exciting... they are always playing music... makes you want to get up and dance... the drinks are a little strong but mostly delicious 😋 my experience is always positive when dining at Kalaveras. I keep coming back 😆😄
